Valentine's

Hi

Well it's been a while since I blogged. (Must try harder).

I recently joined an ATC swap group. My first ATC was ok, but I didn't think I could send it to the swappee, so I used it to create the Valentine Card for my Partner. What do you think? I am quite please with how it has come out.

Birthday Fairy

It is one of my nieces birthdays today, so yesterday I made the below card.  Why is it when you have a card in your mind, it never turns out how you imagined!

Took me ages to get this creation made, as I don't have a dedicated crafting area where all my stash sits, so it took a while to find what I'm after and then I didn't find what I would like. Saying that, it hasn't turned out too bad, I suppose.

The main image is a Lili Of The Valley stamp, called Garden Of Wishes, and the papers were from a Forever Friends Pink Parfait pad. The flowers and sentiment are from my stash.

Wasn't sure about the colour scheme to begin with, but I persevered. What you think?

1st Birthday

Well, it was my nephew's 1st Birthday last week, so a card was in order.

So I visited CraftsUPrint and tried to find one I liked, thought was cute and mentioned one or 1st Birthday and viola, found the below card kit, (plus a few others). It is one created by Helen Williams.  The card was from a kit from QVC.

Think I need to practice taking photo's as it seems fuzzy and also to edit them so they look good for posting, but that could be me. I think he liked it and it was unique.

Next I need to get round to make a girls birthday card for another cousin on Sunday. Best get cracking.

Drummer Bear

Well, created this rushed card today (aprox 2 hours or less), for a Birthday Party my son was going to today. Only just finished it in time. The party started at 2pm.

I used a coverdisc from Complete Cardmaking, issue 22, Card Toonz for the image and the card was from Craftwork Cards. The image Big Drum Topper. The sentiment was from QVC, which was white & I coloured to match with Royal Blue versacolour.

My son was pleased with it, so hopefully his friend will be too. Unfortunately, it was a rush job in getting the Photo, so it's a bit blurry.

Hopefully the next one will be a better picture.
